About Word of God Church, Imphal Word of God Church, Imphal was birthed out of prayer, faith, and obedience to God’s calling. We thank God for His mercy and goodness in our lives. With a deep desire to serve in the Kingdom of God, the ministry began humbly as a small house fellowship in the home of a sister. In the early days, only four to five people gathered together to pray, worship, and study the Word of God. As the house fellowship continued faithfully, the Lord began to work in powerful ways. One day, after the fellowship ended, while walking home, the Lord spoke clearly in the Spirit with these words: “Feed My sheep, guide My sheep, and take care of My sheep.” At that moment, God’s calling became clear. It was understood in the Spirit that the Lord had already chosen and called His servant to shepherd His people. In the year 2009, by faith and obedience to God’s voice, the ministry officially began as a church. Since then, Word of God Church, Imphal has continued to gather every Sunday regularly, committed to worship, prayer, and the teaching of God’s Word. To this day, we remain focused on God’s calling—to feed His people with the truth of Scripture, to guide them in faith, and to care for them with Christ-like love. All glory belongs to God alone.
